Ministries

Deacon/Deaconess

Our mission is to provide spiritual leadership to the membership and all of the ministries of the church. To assist the Pastor and Associate Ministers in praise and worship and in ministering to those that enter into the church for all services and all functions, so as to assure a footing for Bethel Baptist Church and this Ministry.

Evangelism Ministry

To seek and to save those who are lost through the sharing of Gods Word with the intent that people receive salvation or rededication.

First Family Support

Our mission is to support and aid the Pastor and First Family physically and spiritually and to pray for them without ceasing. To have the spirit of our Pastor so that we can discern the necessities and desires, therefore eliminating needless worries or concerns for him so that he is able to concentrate on the weightier matters (equipping the saints through the word of God).

Golden Years Ministry

To reach a greater maturity in Christ Jesus, our Lord in knowledge, wisdom, obedience, love and grace, through the aid of the Holy Spirit to possess the land and aid in Kingdom building, with a spirit of excellence, according to Psalms 51:10-12

Hospitality Ministry

To be Godly examples as we receive and entertain guests, friends and visitors that come to our church. We will assist them generously and kindly in any way to make their stay a pleasant one. We plan agendas and activities for out of town guests to welcome them to our church and our city.

Marriage Ministry

The vision of the Marriage Ministry is to empower Christian Couples to be well balanced in their spiritual and marital lives. Our goals are to conduct quarterly seminars and/or fellowships to help couples strengthen their relationship with each other and God; hold annual marriage retreats which focus on the Word of God while allowing couples to spend quality time together; distribute marriage literature to encourage the romance and intimacy God desires for marriages.

Men (Sons) of Integrity Ministry

The Men of Integrity was founded in 1999 to teach the responsibilities of the man in his home through the word of GOD and to be role models to the young men of the church and in the community. We will carry out our mission through prayer meetings, seminars, workshops and fellowship outings for the men and boys of the Bethel Baptist Church.

Ministerial Alliance

To teach ministers who are called to serve at Bethel Baptist Church how to be well balanced in the gifts that God has given.  To form a united front that is able to operate in the same anointing as our Pastor and thereby glorify God as we develop the gifts needed for the ministry God has given unto us.

Multi-Media (Tape/Video) Ministry

The Multi-Media Ministry is an important part of the outreach ministry here at Bethel Baptist Church.  The services we produce will be used for our weekly TV Broadcast and as part of our Video, CD and Audio tape outreach allowing us to bring the word of God to those who are incarcerated, sick and shut-in and those that are lost.  Our goal is to function as an integral part of the weekly ministry providing the best support possible helping to create an atmosphere of worship and praise.

Music Ministry

To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song, to consistently set the atmosphere and create the glory for the one(s) who will proclaim His word.  We sing for the salvation of souls.

Prison Ministry (Yoke Fellowship)

Our mission is to aid in the conversion of men or women prisoners into Christianity by the sowing of the seed of God.

Singles Ministry (S.P.I.C.E.)

Becoming financially stable setting yourself up in a position to be blessed. Being Kingdom minded, dating successfully, dealing with single parents, divorced persons.  Restoring and producing solid relationships.

Sunday School/Christian Education Ministry

We are well blessed and able to serve the entire church family. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2:15". One of many charges given to Timothy by his Christian father; his mentor; his friend and co-laborer - the Apostle Paul.

Ushers Ministry

To escort members and visitors into the Sanctuary, making them feel comfortable and welcomed with spiritual dignity, promptness, courtesy and tact.  Assist the Pastor in keeping order throughout the whole service that the word of God may go forth without distractions.

Women (Daughters) of Virtue Ministries

Our mission is to recognize the need for all people to come to spiritual renewal. We believe God is issuing a special call for this ministry to bring women together to support one another in their pursuit of spiritual, personal and physical growth.
